7:30 am..................Call-time for all Marching Tigers at RCHS
7:35 am..................Load equipment & change into uniforms (keep small instruments out)
7:40 am...............Buses arrive at RCHS, exit 10
7:50 am...............Depart for the City Park
8:30 am...................Band performs at City Park: Olney Arts Fall Fun Festival
9:00 am...................Choirs perform at City Park: Olney Arts Fall Fun Festival
9:30 am...............Free-time at the Fall Festival
10:00 am.............Depart for Newton, IL
10:30 am.............Arrive at Newton High School
10:35 am.............Unload instruments, & equipment
11:00 am.............Lunch provided by the Olney Music Boosters & change
11:40 pm.............Mental warm-up at trailer in full uniform
11:55 pm.............Move to physical warm-up
12:00 pm.............Physical warm-up
12:15 pm..............Leave practice field for music warm-up
12:20 pm...............Music warm-up
12:35 pm...............Leave music warm-up
12:40 pm...............Arrive at the staging area
12:45 pm...................Perform at the Newton Marching Eagles Classic (Class 3A)
1:00 pm...............March off the field, and take a seat in the stands behind the goal post to watch EHS Marching Hearts perform.
1:15 pm...............Exhibition performance by the NHS Marching Eagles
1:35 pm...............Awards ceremony
2:00 pm...............Return to buses to load equipment & instruments.
2:30 pm...............Buses depart for Olney, IL
3:15 pm................Estimated arrival time for buses to RCHS.
- Department shirts
- Department shorts or jazz pants
- Marching band or color guard shoes
- Black crew socks (tall black socks)
- Dinner money (concessions) or sack dinner
- Pants, comfortable shoes, and sweatshirt/jacket (optional)
- 1 quarter water cooler filled with water
