2025 Jasper County Fall Festival of Bands and the Sage City Invitational
The Marching Tigers perform at the Jasper County Fall Festival Parade in Newton, IL the morning Saturday, September 13th, followed by the Sage City Invitational in Monticello, IL.
Students, please make sure to bring the following items:
The schedule for the day is as follows:
8:00 am..................Call-time at RCHS in department shirt, shorts, black socks, and marching band shoes
8:05 am..................Load instruments and equipment on the trailer
8:20 am..................Buses arrive
8:30 am..................Depart for Newton, IL (201 Westend Ave, Newton, IL)
9:00 am..................Estimated arrival at Newton High School and unload
10:00 am................The Jasper County Fall Festival Parade begins
10:45 am................Estimated end of parade (E. Washington St. & N. 3rd Ave.)
11:00 am................Restroom break, load instruments, and lunch (provided by the Olney Music Boosters). Water available by the buses
12:00 pm................Depart for Monticello High School (1 Sage St., Monticello, IL)
2:30 pm................Arrive at Monticello High School
2:40 pm................Unpack and dress
3:00pm................Sing through music (time providing)
3:15 pm................Meet guides
3:25 pm................Report to the warm up area A
3:30 pm................Warmup
4:00 pm................Depart for stadium gate
4:15 pm................Perform in the stadium
4:30 pm................Travel back to the buses
5:00 pm................Free time (watch competition and visit concessions)
7:45 pm................Meet in the stands
8:15 pm................Awards ceremony in the stadium
9:00 pm................Estimated return time to the buses
9:15 pm................Departure for Olney
12:00 am...............Estimated return time to RCHS
Students, please make sure to bring the following items:

- Department shorts (winds and percussion), or jazz pants (color guard)
- Black crew socks
- Marching band uniform
- Drillmasters
- Light jacket/sweatshirt (optional)
- Sun screen
- 1 quart water cooler
- Money for dinner, drinks, and snacks
