Congratulations to Kendra Jellison, Carmen Rodriguez, Sydney Berkshire, Ethan Steber, Colby Garrard, Bryce Klingler, Delaney Shryock, & Alice Chenault earning a spot within the 2018 ILMEA District 5 Band, Choir, & Orchestra Festival.
Those selected to participate in the ILMEA District 5 Jazz Festival at Eastern Illinois University will rehearse and perform on Monday, November 5th. Alice Chenault represents Richland County High School at the jazz festival this year. The jazz festival may be found below.
Those selected to participate in the ILMEA District 5 Concert Band, Orchestra, & Choirs also meets at Eastern Illinois University to rehearse and perform on Saturday, November 17th. Representing RCHS in the District 5 Concert Band is Kendra Jellison & Carmen Rodriguez. Representing RCHS in the District 5 Orchestra is Sydney Berkshire & Ethan Steber. Finally, representing RCHS in the District 5 Choir is Colby Garrard, Bryce Klingler, & Delaney Shryock. The festival schedule for band, orchestra, & choir may be found below.

7:40 am...............................Depart for EIU in Charleston, IL
9:00 am...............................Registration in the MLK Union Bridge
9:30 am...............................Jazz rehearsals begin
4:30 pm...............................Break to change and prep for the concerts
5:45 pm...............................Jazz Band Concerts in Doudna Dvorak Hall
7:00 pm...............................Dinner
9:30 pm...............................Estimated return time to RCHS

PLEASE NOTE: Rehearsals may run from 3:00-5:30 pm, depending on the ensemble and the director. We will not eat dinner prior to the concerts. Students may go home with parents after signing out.
