The schedule for the Olney Fall Festival & Panther Marching Band Festival:
NOTE: Instruments need to be packed on the trailer the Friday before during class.
7:00 am................Call-time for all Marching Tigers
7:05 am................Load equipment & change into uniforms (keep small instruments out)
7:45 am................Visual block
8:20 am................Buses arrive at RCHS, exit 21
8:30 am................Depart for the City Park
9:00 am................Perform at City Park: Olney Arts Fall Fun Festival
9:30 am................Load and return to RCHS (instruments will remain on the trailer until EIU)
10:00 am..............Practice (without instruments) in the stadium. Bring water.
11:00 am..............Lunch provided by the Olney Music Boosters at RCHS
11:35 am..............Load buses
11:45 am..............Depart for EIU
1:00 pm................Change into uniforms and unpack equipment. Mental warmups, time providing.
2:05 pm................Move to warmup area
2:15 pm................Warmup on practice field
2:45 pm................Move to the staging area/stadium gate
3:00 pm................Perform in the stadium
3:15 pm................Travel back to the buses
3:30 pm................Load instruments, equipment, & uniforms
3:45 pm................Free time to watch other bands and visit concessions (dinner)
5:00 pm................Meet in the home stadium, north end. Look for dept. shirts.
5:15 pm................EIU Panther Marching Band Exhibition
5:30 pm................Awards ceremony in the stadium
6:15 pm................Meet at the buses
6:30 pm................Buses depart for Olney, IL
7:45 pm....................Estimated Return time to RCHS
TICKETS :
Adults $10.00; Students and Senior Citizens $5,00. Children 5 and under are free. Festival Programs will be available for $5.00. Cash and check only.
