- 7:00-7:39...............................Winds and drumline only (no colorguard) in your chairs in the band room. You need your tuners, Inside the Circle book, Stadium Jams, and show music. Our primary focus is Silverado.
- 7:40-7:44...............................Put away tuners, and music, before making your way (carefully avoiding buses) to the grass on the circle drive.
- 7:45-7:59...............................Rehearse Full Volume, Los Dos Bandidos, Wanted Dead or Alive, and Silverado in a circle.
- 8:00-8:04...............................Colorguard joins the band. Parade Block B to Los Dos Bandido (once on the track) to the practice field. No tuners or music.
- 8:05-8:29................................Learn sets 28A-31A (no instruments)
- 8:30-9:04................................Review sets 25-28A. Run sets 15A-28A (with instruments)
- 9:05-9:09.................................March in Parade Block B to Los Dos Bandido back to the school
- 9:10-9:15..................................Stow instruments, guard equipment, drill charts, coordinates, lanyards, water bottles, Drillmasters, Crossovers, and/or StylePLUS shoes.
- 6:00-8:00................................Colorguard only evening rehearsal. The colorguard is exempt from 7:00-7:59 rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- GREEN ROOM: The green room is off limits to all marchers on game day (3 p.m. until 10 p.m.), and on days of competitions except female color guard. Should winds and percussion need to use the restroom, the restrooms in the hallway will be available. Male color guard, please see Mr. Jones at your next available opportunity.
- BPT: Students may not claim Band Personal Time (BPT) the day before or the day of a performance. Sorry, folks. no BPT Thursday or Friday of this week.
- HOMECOMING: Interested in decorating the music department door for homecoming? Let me know! Decorations start September 16th.
- UNIFORMS: If you had an issue with your uniform, message Mrs. Deimel via the RCCU1 app, or email her at [email protected]. Please CC me on that email. Don't wait until the last minute! Make sure to message her on Monday at the latest.
- ILMEA LESSONS: Those of you auditioning for an ILMEA ensemble (jazz band, concert band, or orchestra), please select a 30 minute time once a week for a lesson. Those that did not have a lesson last week will need two lessons this week. Log into your RCCU1 account on your browser, and then click HERE.
- THURSDAY OTE: No jazz band today, folks. You are welcome to check in before going to another OTE/club. I am away for a doctor's appointment during OTE.
- LUNCH: The music department is open for lunch this week, except Tuesday and Thursday. Sorry. I have appointments both days.
- BUS & VAN SEATING: Sign up for your spot on the bus or the van by clicking HERE. You must be logged into your RCCU1 account on your browser to edit. Please do not delete people's names from a seat. No more than two per seat. Mentors, this is a job for you! Make sure your "littles" know to access this form.Ethan Zuber, Allison Cline, and Carly Zuber have to be on the van.
- PLAYING TEST #2: Each student must record themselves performing Wanted Dead or Alive from memory. Upload the video onto Google Drive, and share the file on Schoology. See your leadership should you need help.
- PLAYING TEST #3: Silverado from memory. Upload the video onto Google Drive, and share the file on Schoology. The due date is Friday, September 20th.
- PLAYING TEST #4: Wisconsin from memory. Upload the video onto Google Drive, and share the file on Schoology. The due date is Friday, September 27th.
- JASPER COUNTY FALL FESTIVAL PARADE & SAGE CITY INVITATIONAL: The band performs at two venues on Saturday, September 14th. Click HERE for more details. This is an extremely long day! - 2024 MATTRESS FUNDRAISER: The mattress fundraiser informational meeting is on Tuesday, October 1 at 6 p.m. in the RCPAC. The fundraiser is in the auxiliary gym on Saturday, October 19th from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Click HERE for more details. This fundraiser is essential to help offset costs for the marching band, and for the winter guard.
- RCHS MARCHING TIGERS DRUMLINE FUNDRAISER: Friday, September 20th from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the RCHS circle drive. There will be a bake sale and t-shirt orders taken that night as well.
- Just a reminder that doors are unlocked at the following times for weekday rehearsals:
- Band Room glass doors = 6:45 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Main Entrance (student parking) = 6:50 a.m. until 6:58 a.m.
- Boys volleyball permission slips are due today. You can turn them into Room 122 during OTA and OTE. You must turn in a permission slip to play.
- There is an Interact Club meeting during OTE this afternoon in the PAC.
- There is a girls basketball open gym opportunity tonight in beautiful, historic Ron Herrin Gym from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
- The first Youth Alive meeting will be tomorrow in room 212 (Profe Marriott’s room). We are asking students to bring $2 for pizza.
- There will be a Best Buddies meeting tomorrow during OTA. Please report to your OTA class first for attendance purposes.
- Mid-Term is this Friday. Please take some time, check your grades. Do you have any missing work? Get it done and submitted. Oh, and IXL is texting you. Please text back, get the work done, and smile while doing so.
