NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- FRIDAY'S SCHEDULE: Tomorrow is a 2 p.m. dismissal.
- FRIDAY'S DAILY BULLETIN: There will be no daily bulletin for the rest of this week until Sunday. Click on the events under the meme for Friday evening's and Saturday's itineraries.
- MENTORSHIP PROGRAM: Mentors, reach out to your "littles"! This weekend is their first parade, and their first competition. Walk them through step-by-step what to expect, what is expected from them, and what they need. This is especially important for Saturday! I recommend setting aside clothing tonight, so that no one is scrambling to find uniform parts. Dinner is not provided Saturday. Bring a sack-dinner, or money for concessions. There will be a few left-over booster lunches for those that do not have a sack-dinner or money.
- RAIN SATURDAY: In the event of a rain-out, both the parade and the competition may be delayed. Should the parade be cancelled due to rain, we will regrettably not be able to come back for the make up date. Should the competition in Monticello rain out, the competition will move into the gymnasium, in which we will be evaluated musically, and for auxiliary only.
- SHOW SHIRTS: If you don't have a second 2024 Show-Shirt/Department Shirt, I recommend wearing an old Show Shirt to tomorrow's game. You will want a fresh, clean 2024 Show-Shirt for Saturday. The only authorized shirt for winds, percussion, and color guard for Saturday in Newton and in Monticello is the 2024 Show-Shirt.
- SIGNING OUT: Please message Mr. Jones if you plan on going home with a parent or guardian. You may contact him via email at [email protected], or through the RCCU1 app.
- WATER BOTTLE: Bring your water bottle to tomorrow's rehearsal. You need your bottles for Friday's game, as well as for the parade and competition on Saturday.
