$200 BAND FEE DUE 7/17 & ATTIRE PURCHASES:
Unfortunately, due to costs associated with running a marching band, we have to charge a participation fee to join the Marching Tigers. The season fee is $200. For those that have two or more students enrolled in the Marching Tigers, the fee is $200 for the first student, and $150 per additional sibling. Cash and credit cards are accepted, but checks are the preferred method of payment. Checks should be made out to "RCHS Bands" and is due on Thursday, July 17th, 2020 (unless other arrangements have been made).
Fundraisers are available throughout the year to help offset the costs. Students that transfer from RCMS to RCHS are permitted to transfer their RCMS band accounts to their RCHS band accounts. Again, please make checks out to RCHS BANDS.
The department shirt ($10), department shorts (winds & percussion only for $15), and Drillmaster shoes (winds & percussion only for $32), guard shoes (colorguard only for $35), guard gloves (colorguard only for $16), and guard jazz pants (colorguard only for $30) are not included in the band fee. However, the black cotton gloves are included. Students are not required to purchase new uniform parts each year.
The total cost for a returning member is $200 for the season, unless the student wishes to purchase new clothing items. The cost for new members is $255, which includes clothing items.

We firmly believe that students should be allowed to participate in the marching band & other school activities. Many Marching Tigers are also involved in football, tennis, golf, cross country, dance, FFA, & other school activities.
