MEET THE TIGERS: Tonight's call-time is 5:15 pm for those needing clothing items from Mrs. Deimel, and 5:30 pm for everyone else. Please be in your seats, ready-to-go at 5:30 pm. SATURDAY REHEARSAL: Saturday's rehearsal (our second to last Saturday rehearsal!) is from 9:30am to noon. Please ensure that you bring everything that you need, including water and sun block.

RCCU1 APP: I understand that a few parents do not have the ability to download the RCCU1 app. Don't worry! We won't leave you out of the loop! There is obviously a transition period as we switch over to a new communication tool. For those unable to download the RCCU1 app, I believe there is a way to receive email notifications. I hope to have more details for you soon. In the interim, I will continue to use both the RCCU1 app and Remind until all the bumps have been worked out.

The Marching Tigers perform at the Jasper County Fall Festival Parade in Newton, IL the morning Saturday, September 9th.

Students, please make sure to bring the following items:

• Department shirt
• Department shorts (winds and percussion), or jazz pants (color guard)
• Black crew socks
• Marching band uniform
• Drillmasters
• Light jacket/sweatshirt (optional)
• Sun screen
• 1 quart water cooler

The schedule for the day is as follows:
8:00 am..................Call-time at RCHS in department shirt, shorts, black socks, and marching band shoes

8:05 am..................Load instruments and equipment on the trailer
8:20 am..................Buses arrive
8:30 am..................Depart for Newton, IL (201 Westend Ave, Newton, IL)
9:00 am..................Estimated arrival at Newton High School and unload
10:00 am................The Jasper County Fall Festival Parade begins
10:45 am................Estimated end of parade (E. Washington St. & N. 3rd Ave.)
11:00 am................Restroom break and load instruments.
12:15 pm................Depart for Olney (Mr. Jones, & Drum Major & Color Guard section leader stays for awards)
12:45 pm................Estimated arrival for the buses at RCHS
1:30 pm..................Estimated arrival of the van

2023 MEET THE TIGERS NIGHT: The Marching Tigers will perform the Star Spangled Banner, School Song, and the first movement to the show this Friday at 6:30 PM in the RCHS stadium.

The call-time for all Marching Tigers is 5:30 PM in the rehearsal hall. Please eat a healthy dinner and drink plenty of water prior to the call-time.

The event host is the athletic department, and is intended to showcase members of the dance team, cheerleaders, fall teams, and the Marching Tigers.

The performance uniform for Meet the Tigers is the summer uniform (department shirt, department shorts, black crew socks, and Drillmaster shoes/Crossovers). Students, please do not wear the old show shirts or section shirts. Those of you that participate in a fall sport (football, cheer leading, dance, tennis...) will wear your sport/cheer uniforms instead of our summer uniform. I anticipate the band will be done by 7-7:30 PM at the latest.
