The RCHS Marching Tigers Final Performance is held in the RCHS stadium at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025. The performance is open to the public at no cost. The call-time for Marching Tigers winds & percussion is 6:30 pm. The call-time for color guard to put on makeup is at the discretion of the color guard instructor.

The 2025 Mt. Zion Music Games is scheduled for Saturday, October 11th in Mt. Zion, IL. This is our last field show competition for the season.

Please make sure to bring the following items:​

• Department shirt
• Department shorts
• Black crew socks
• Drillmasters
• 1 quart water cooler filled with water
• Roughly $10-20 in cash for dinner & snacks (lunch is provided)
• Sweatshirt or light jacket, pants, & comfortable shoes. It gets cold!

The schedule for the day is as follows:
9:00 am.................Call-time at RCHS for all Marching Tigers
9:10 am.................Front ensemble loads equipment on trailer while winds, color guard, and drumline practice in the stadium
10:05 am...............Buses arrive at RCHS, exit 10
10:15 pm................Depart for Mt. Zion, IL
12:30 pm................Arrive at Mt. Zion High School (305 S. Henderson)
12:35 pm...............Lunch provided by the Olney Music Boosters
1:00 pm.................Unload instruments, & equipment
1:45 pm..................Mental warm-up at trailer in full uniform
2:00 pm..................Meet event guides
2:10 pm..................Report to warmup
2:15 pm..................Warm-up (Location B)

So that students may return in time for the homecoming dance, we are not staying for the awards ceremony.

The Marching Tigers perform at the Jasper County Fall Festival Parade in Newton, IL the morning Saturday, September 13th, followed by the Sage City Invitational in Monticello, IL.

Students, please make sure to bring the following items:

• Department shirt
• Department shorts (winds and percussion), or jazz pants (color guard)
• Black crew socks
• Marching band uniform
• Drillmasters
• Light jacket/sweatshirt (optional)
• Sun screen
• 1 quart water cooler
• Money for dinner, drinks, and snacks

The Marching Tigers will perform the Star Spangled Banner, and the School in the RCHS stadium.

The call-time for all Marching Tigers is 5:30 PM  on Friday, August 22nd in the rehearsal hall. Please eat a healthy dinner and drink plenty of water prior to the call-time.

The event host is the athletic department, and is intended to showcase members of the football, cheerleaders, girls tennis, boys soccer, volleyball, golf, cross country, swimming, and the Marching Tigers.

The performance uniform for Meet the Tigers is the summer uniform (department shirt, department shorts, black crew socks, and Drillmaster shoes/Crossovers). Students, please do not wear the old show shirts or section shirts. Those of you that participate in a fall sport ) will wear your sport/cheer uniforms instead of our summer uniform. I anticipate the band will be done by 7-7:30 PM at the latest.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is that time of the year! Please take a moment to review the upcoming schedule (including football games!) by clicking the 2025-2026 CALENDAR tab on this website. Unless otherwise specified, here are the details and schedule for the 2025 RCHS home football games:

Uniform: Full battle-rattle! This includes the department shirt, shorts, Drillmaster or CrossOver shoes, black-crew socks, bibbers (pants), marching band jackets, shakos (hats), plums, gloves, and guard uniforms.

Equipment: Your instrument, flip folder, lyre, & music

5:15 pm.……….………….Call-time for all RCHS Marching Tigers members & change into uniform.

5:45 pm……………………Rehearse in the rehearsal hall (RCHS room 153)

6:20 pm........................Drumline joins the football team for warmup at the stadium

6:20 pm…………………..Set parade block and march to the stadium.

6:50 pm……………………Pre-game (Star-Spangled Banner, School Song, followed by the tunnel)

7:00 pm……………………Game begins (stand-tunes & half-time show. 3rd quarter off for concessions)

Half-time Performance:

• Perform the half-time/competition show.

9:20 pm……………………Estimated end to the football game
