 | Jasper County Fall Festival Parade & Sage City Invitational on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 |
Our first away performance is nearly upon us! The Marching Tigers perform at the Jasper County Fall Festival Parade in Newton, IL the morning Saturday, September 14th, followed by the Sage City Invitational in Monticello, IL that evening.
Students, please make sure to bring the following items:
Parents, please bring cash for admittance into the stadium.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
8:00 am..................Call-time at RCHS in department shirt, shorts, black socks, and marching band shoes
8:05 am..................Load instruments & equipment on the trailer
8:20 am..................Buses arrive
8:30 am..................Depart for Newton, IL (201 Westend Ave, Newton, IL)
9:00 am..................Estimated arrival at Newton High School & unload
10:00 am................The Jasper County Fall Festival Parade begins
10:45 am................Estimated end of parade (E. Washington St. & N. 3rd Ave.)
11:00 am................Restroom break, lunch, & load instruments.
12:15 pm................Depart for Monticello (Mr. Jones, & DMs stay for awards)
2:14 pm..................Est. arrival time at Monticello High School (1 Sage Dr, Monticello, IL 61856
2:15 pm..................Visit concessions, restroom break, and watch performances
3:45 pm..................Unload & change into uniforms
4:30 pm..................Mental warmups
5:15 pm..................Meet with guides & move to warmup area
5:25 pm..................Report to Miller Gym
5:30 pm..................Musical warmup in Miller Gym
6:00 pm..................Leave Miller Gym for stadium
6:15 pm..................Performance in the stadium
6:30 pm..................Return to buses, load equipment, change out of uniforms, & dinner on your at concessions
7:45 pm..................Meet in stands for exhibition performance by Monticello
8:00 pm..................Awards ceremony
8:30 pm..................Meet at buses & depart for Olney
11:00 pm................Estimated arrival at Richland County High School
11:00 pm................Band dismissed

- 1 quart water cooler
